A Parisien traditon seems to have died

Despite World Cup flags on the walls and windows, the famous sports cafe Aux Trois Obus was not showing the Uruguay - Korea game.
Le Patron chose to show the Glastonbury Festival - a 3 day music event in Somerset, England.
I watched in wonderment as The Scissor Sisters performed instead of the football.
Le Patron said, "we don't want people to stagnate.."
Is this a symptom of the French exit from the World Cup?

The whole country woke up to tune in and follow the TRI’s first big match on African soil.  The lucky fans that managed to travel to Johannesburg and see the game from the stands of the Soccer City Stadium is the envy of millions here, but that didn’t stop, at least for 50 thousands Mexico City’s residents to experienced a World Cup “fiesta” at the very heart of the Aztec city, where the International FIFA Fan Fest is underway.
